What’s Love Got to Do With It?


Can you believe it’s the middle of the month already?


I recently heard that January is the new February so I’m going with that idea and putting in the extra work to make February fabulous.


Valentine’s Day isn’t only for couples and close friends. In fact, it’s a timely opportunity to show appreciation to the people you’ve been meaning to thank in between building your business, juggling family life and setting aside time for self-care. The year is still young and there’s plenty of time to tell people how you truly feel.


Have you thanked your staff recently? Shown appreciation for your tenants? Did you perhaps to send a message of gratitude to your clients during the holidays? Is there a new prospect to whom you’d like to reach out?


February is the perfect month to show you care and reinforce your appreciation for the people you work and network with. Here’s a tip: send your existing clients a card and sweet treat with the message “Love doing business with you”, or drop a small gift and note to your prospects with the message “I’d love to do business with you”.


As my mentor Debbie Quintana always says “Your clients don’t wake up every morning thinking about you. You have to remind them that you are here”. People do business with people they like. Make sure you’re one of those people.


Love has everything to do with business. If you love what you do and your clients love what you do for them, you’re in a perfect pairing that will lead to success.
